I'm not sure what else people were expecting. Our central midfielders are all defensive ones, save for Gerrard, and Rafa clearly doesn't particularly want to play Stevie at CM.

I have said it before and I will not mention it again but why is Zenden even in the squad.

I would prefer one of the youngsters to him. No wonder Speedy G has no confidence, with that waster getting more game time than him he must be devastated.

Rafa Benitez has made three changes to his Liverpool side for tonight's Premiership clash with Middlesbrough at Anfield, with Momo Sissoko, Peter Crouch and Bolo Zenden all coming in.
The Reds are looking to reclaim third place from Arsenal tonight and Rafa has again shuffled his pack. Crouch is expected to play up front with Steven Gerrard in a supporting role and Javier Mascherano and Momo Sissoko at the heart of the midfield.

or one who is preparing for the chelsea game, lets face it if we go out and whoop these 5-0 with 3 attackers how will that help for chelsea.......Our season now revolves around 2 games against chelsea. I for one will suffer this game IF it means getting it right in the 2 games that count

I was pretty certain we would play one up front - I think we will see that on saturday as well. We should beat them as well by two goals, but we should have beaten City as well though. I don´t know if Rafa is trying to protect Kuyt and Crouch by spreading the workload or if he´s trying out this 4-2-3-1 system with Mascher. Either way seems sensible enough against these teams though.
