LFC Player of the 2nd half of the season....

Surely Arbeloa has to be up there. He's been so solid since breaking into the 1st 11.

    He's been absolutely superb.

Micah Richards for 12m, or Arbeloa for 2.6m.

    Tough one.

Pennant and Arbeloa were both very impressive last night

Crouch and I've also seen improvement in Xabi and Pennant.

Gonzo, Kuyt and Bellers have work to do

Gonzo needs to match pennant's effort

Bellers needs to shut the **** up and start scoring

Kuyt needs to start showing some bite in his attacking and put the ball in the net more

Arbeloa looks like he's playing with us for years. Mascherano's integration into the side has been as seamless as Agger's was - which is quite a feat!
Pennant's form is also extremely pleasing.
Very encouraging all round. Now if we can only get a decent striker in the summer...

Arebola means we dont need a defender this summer - only maybe a left back

I`m one of Pennant's fierces critical, but he has really improved, proved alot of doubters wrong.

                    Mascher just excellent
                    We need better attacking players!

                    Torres aint enough

I've also been very impressed with Arbeloa and how easily he's found it to settle into a new team and country - at the price we paid for him it looks a bargain.

He's comfortable in either full back position and can also cover as a central defender too which means we don't need another defender this summer in my opinion.

All the people mentioned have been good, however I think Carragher has been our most consistent performer and put in some truly exceptional performances.

Pennant would get most improved player since the new year.

Pennant for me, although Crouch has a strong case!

Absolutely agree - the thing about Carra (and Finnan also) is that we often take him for granted. His excellence and consistency is a given and therefore gets forgotten about. He has been immense.

                              Another spot on post dww

Carragher has been excellent and Pennant is getting better and better.

Also, Mascherano has been absolutely top class since he's got his match fitness back (about half way through the Sheffield United game).
