Better than Cisse.

Cisse is a better goalscorer than Bellamy = better striker.

better goal scorer? what are you basing this on? one season where he scored against crap teams, where he wasted countless chances, where he was put out on the wing because he was so inept in front of goal?

cisse has one type of shot in him, he can blast the ball pretty hard, but there's more to being a striker than that mate. his movement off the ball is pathetic, his workrate is pathetic, his first touch is pathetic.......

in the barca game, first leg, what would cisse have done in bellamy's place? i've never seen him head the ball correctly so that's the first goal wiped off the board. the second goal he would have panicked and lashed the ball as hard as he could, or it would have bounced off his shin and the chance would have been gone. wipe that one off the board too. he's the worst player i've seen in a Liverpool shirt, in the context of how much we paid for him. i'm so happy he's gone

And I'll be so happy when Bellamy's gone. Bellamy has proved his inconsistent goalscoring potential (1 goal per 3-4 game) season after season, and even moreso at Anfield. Cisse has proved his goalscoring potential in 2 major European leagues, and hit 19 goals in 1 season after a major injury, AND whilst continually being played out of position. Bellamy may have better "technique" but Cisse has more threat and goals in him. Bellamy scored againsted Barca, granted, but due to a huge howler from the keeper. Cisse has scored in the CL final, European Super Cup Final, FA Cup Final, and against Everton (i.e. in major LFC games). He missed an absolute sitter against Utd. Cisse = 5 goals in 15 games this season (I believe - can't be arsed to check), about the same rate as Bellamy (AGAIN after a major injury).

I want better than both, but if we only had the option of exchanging Cisse for Bellamy, I'd go it.

I agree with you about Cisse, but I think this part is not really fair to him.
Reina was asked in an interview who in the team could blast the ball the hardest. He didnt even have to think about it. Cisse.
Then the guy asked about Gerrard or Riise but Reina basically said that they where not in the same league.
