The fact Essien won't be patrolling the middle of the park for them is a ****ing huge bonus for us. They also have Drogba and a couple more on yellows, whereas we only have Pennant. Another plus for us.

Without being blatantly obvious, we need to be "in their faces" and giving it some stick in the away leg, rather than sitting back and soaking it up.

Too right. Plenty of reasons to be positive.

I think we have the psychological edge over them. Sure they owe us one, but then they had a big game today and couldn't produce the goods against a fairly poor Newcastle. Not as though they fielded a 'B' team either.

Even if we produce one of our displays where we dominate and don't convert our chances and maybe even concede one at the bridge, then i still think we can hammer them at home.

Hopefully though, we will do an Arsenal on the Chavs and fire straight out the blocks, score an early goal whilst they are too busy wondering what our game plan is. Either way, Xabi and Masher need to be a tad more attack minded than defensive, if they play that is!
