    Nabil Elzhar signed?

This is what it says on his official site I think.

I have article published on site saying that nabil had to sign a one year old contract with the ADZE, but since this contract at summer to cancel. This is why it was not present with the match. Indeed it is not in Green that you will surporterez "El maestro" but in red! Nabil Elzhar has to sign a contract in in Liverpool. Congratulation with him, and good luck for the continuation

    Anyone ever heard of him?
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Liverpool have offered a 4-year contract to Nabi El Zhar of St. Etienne, after the 19 year old Moroccan youth international rejected his current club's offer of a new contract. They will have to pay £200,000 in compensation.
Although a Morrocan national, he was born and bred in Ales France and is therefore in possession of a French passport.
The youngster was a star of the U20 World Cup in 2005, scoring against Italy in the quarter final. This was the same tournament where the reds spotted recent signing Gabriel Paletta.
Liverpool continue to work hard in the transfer market, with Rafael Benitez leaving Gary Ablett in charge of tonight's friendly against Lincoln in order to try and tie up a deal for Dirk Kuyt. This should be completed within 48 hours despite false reports suggesting the player prefers a move to Newcastle. Made up quotes from a forum repeated by lazy journalists has caused this false informaion to spread.

                              KUYT: I'M WORTH THE WAIT
                              By David Maddock

DIRK KUYT will complete his "dream" move to Liverpool today after undergoing a medical at the club last night.

And for manager Rafa Benitez it is the culmination of two years' work tracking the Dutch striker, who was his primary target when he first arrived at Anfield. Liverpool have agreed a £9million fee with Feyenoord and Kuyt could hardly contain his excitement as he contemplated a move to what he believes is one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Kuyt had offers from BayernMunich, Newcastle, Inter Milan and Lyon, but he insisted that Anfield was always his preferred destination, despite two months of protracted negotiations.

"For me, Liverpool is the dream club I was looking for. It is such a massive club," he said.

"There was more interest from abroad, but for me there was nothing of the calibre of Liverpool - a brilliant club with an enormous reputation and fantastic support.

"I always wanted to be at Anfield. It took some time but I am very glad now that it has happended."

Liverpool are poised to snap up teenage Moroccan star Nabil El Zhar from St Etienne for around £200,000.
