Pennant has been brilliant today, he just keeps getting better and better.

I'm not saying he's not effective mate, he is. How many assists is that ? 11 ?

But how nice would it be if he offered 5+ goals a season ?

Sure, it'd be ****ing lovely, and I think he should look to improve his goal threat. But he can definitely still be an effective attacking midfielder without those extra goals.

I think if Masher had been on the pitch instead of Zenden, then we may have had another goal or two. A lot of our attacks seemed to break down through Zenden or Gonzo.


Only one team in it today, should be at least another goal in this game for the Reds.

Would like to see a kid playing, for all Zenden is doing defensively someone like Barnett could be in there - or Putterill for Gonzo?

Pennant is on fire today and Kuyt even got in the old cradle rocking celebration for the new baby too. Good stuff so far
