Decent performances today...

I thought that the full team was pretty flat i the first half despite going in 1-0 up. The second half was much better. Kuyt played well but robbed himself of a hattrick a couple of times. Gonzales was better than normal but he has to wrk on his crossing. He has great pace but struggles when he gets into dangerous positions, he should have put us 2-0 up right at the start of the 2nd half.

Pennant plaed well again today I thought.

Don't get me started on Zenden!

Abysmal isn't the word, shaggy.

There was move in the first half where we played some beatiful passes on the break and got into a 3 on 3 situation. The minute the ball got to Zenden the move broke down.

Thank god his contract is up in the summer.

It makes me happy that we only have one player in our squad who makes me think bugger when I see his name on a team sheet (well aside from maybe Dudek) and hopefully that will be solved in the summer.

I thought that was Kuyt's best performance in a Liverpool shirt.

Pennant looks pretty much undroppable and really is starting to look like a very good signing by Rafa.

Zenden is an embarrassment, a joke of a player and was our worst player again today.

And finally another very average Gonzalez performance.

But overall it was a very comfortable win and more importantly we didn't pick up any injuries. Roll on the f*cking Chavs!!

why is he an easy target?

All of this season he`s been lambasted on here as not good enough when he cost nothing,was player of the seaon for Boro last yr and only plays in games when we`re resting our "Best" players.




I can`t remember one single mistake he`s made this yr that cost us points.



What`s SO wrong with a player who was brought in when we had no money to do a job he`s filled adequately.You don`t get a "World Class" player on a free transfer,but he`s not been loaned out either.


Pennant,Sissiko and Gonzo have all fell foul of the perfectionists but all i want is "Team" performance and points.IE:

1 Champions Leauge place for next season
2 Semi final place against Chlelski




PS.I think Rafa Handed Arsenil both the Carling and F.A wins because we should concentrate on better things.

Free or not the guy is a liabillity. You only have to watch him to see that. To often he loses the ball when we're on the attack and our hard work comes undone because of him. Not sometimes but practically all of the time.

No ones disputing the reasons he was brought in, and he looks almost playable when he's on the left, but in the middle he's a huge step down from we're used to

He is a stop gap,relax.Check out how many losing `Pool teams he`s been in.He`s as good as Fowler is right now but nobody is jumping on "God".
