Seriously Quinncy, who gives a f*ck whether he's a free signing or he tries his best? It doesn't change the fact that he's a joke of a footballer. It really is embarrassing seeing him play for us. He's utter crap and deserves all the criticism he gets. He's out of his depth and we need to get rid asap.

But you and i know that he`ll be gone in the summer,for now he`s one of us and was brought in to fill a spot(Kewells) for NOTHING.Without him doing a job(Albeit not fanastic) we`d have to play Risse,Aurelio or Gonzo in every game this yr barring injuries(Wait a minute) or need to rest(Wait a minute).He`s our 4th choice LM and today he filled in in CM again to rest players which is handy when youv`e got a CL came next week.

I've criticised Kuyt alot this season but he played well today. He is still not the main striker I want to see in a red shirt, but his workrate and link up play were very good and he took his goals well.

Arbeloa and Pennant have a good understanding and some of their combinations are great to watch. Arbeloa has been a great signing, his attitude and versatility are everything you want in a squad player.

I thought speedy and zenden were piss poor yesterday.........Arbeloa impressed me

First time I've seen Arbeloa in the flesh. Absoloutely faultless performance, though admittedly under little pressure. Looks pure quality though; confident in possession, quick in the tackle, positionally sound and joins the attack well. Also, he seems willing to get forward in central positions, not just overlapping down the flank. Difficult for defenders to pick up. Well impressive.

Gonzalez was awful till last half hour, then seemed to gain confidence and was prepared to run at the full back, to good effect. Like to see more of that from him.

Gonzo got better when Bellamy came on as our game quickened and Wigan were more stretched. Overall yes Zenden is average but he was a stop gap, Dirk played well but his first touch lets him down still. Our right side is looking very good with Pennant and Arbeloa especially linking around the opposition box yesterday and against Arsenal.
We have lots of options at the moment and things are looking very positive for next season, replace Fowler with a box predator and Zenden with another wing option and we will be right up there.
