    Liverpool join race for Osasuna's Raul Garcia

    Liverpool have joined the race for Osasuna midfielder Raul Garcia.

    Valencia and Atletico Madrid have been in talks with Osasuna for some weeks over Raul Garcia, who is rated at around £7 million.

    Osasuna president Patxi Izco was prepared to sell to Valencia before rival clubs made their interest known - including Liverpool, says Marca.
    Just believe and you never know what will happen.

    According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

            Defensive midfielder. He is the best young spanish DM in La Liga IMO.

                          I ve been on about this lad for a while now.

                          He is a central mid who likes to dictate the play...ala Xabi. He's left footed aswell.

                          He has lovely composure on the ball, and an eye for a pass. He's built like a tank aswell, so he would fit right in.

                          Im sure Rafa is aware of his talents....but we really dont have room for him..unless Momo is sold.

                          Valencia have all but signed him apparently.

                            Albelda is on the way to Barca so it's not surprising that Valencia want to replace him with Garcia.

                              Isn't he a attacking Mid?
                              I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
