I'm almost certain bellamy will go, personally I'd like to see him stay but I think we've got to be realistic at least 1 striker will leave and I guess he offers the least. I don't think it has anyting to do the the golf club incident, if it had been bad why did he play against barca?

Ive seen the odds, and despite the latest developments, i still think odds are very mean. IMHO he is a much longer shot that 6-1
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

with regard to anelka, it was heavily rumoured that when we signed morientes, anelka was also a possible signing at that time. Personally, i think that he would score a lot of goals in the liverpool team - the way bolton play was never going to suit him - i reckon that sam alardyce wanted to bring his team to the next level but to do that, he would have been better off either signing a big striker that can hold the ball up well and will compete for all the long balls pumped up to him.....bolton are simply not playing to anelka's strenghts.

the way anelka plays at bolton, is very similar to henry at arsenal - he comes deep and runs at defenders whereas when he was at arsenal, anelka used to score most of his goals from through balls from midfield (or mainly denis bergkamp!) - like owen for us at the time....

Probably not prolific but just as the strikers we have they get into double figures but not to that 20+ mark, which we need. Is he over hyped maybe??

Because Bellamy might be a tit but Rafa's not a fool, and isn't going to sacrifice his tactics is he
