I did a quick online search for tickets for Chelsea v Liverpool on Wednesday.

Take a guess at how much the cheapest price was, for a single ticket...

There WERE some at £500, £600 and more...but i shopped around and found a couple of 'bargains'...

Way of the world unfortunately. Always an unscrupulous few trying to make money off people who desperately want to go but have no other way of getting tickets.

The real question should be how do so many tickets end up with people who have no intention of going to the game and just want to resell for a big profit.

If you dont want to buy them then there is always someone who will, thats why they can charge these prices and get away with it

I understand the supply and demand thing. But more than 5 times face value is abysmal.

Double or triple, i could just about stomach. Shouldnt happen but that's the way it is. But 5 times the face value??? :whatever:

I know that. But it should be properly legislated so that they cant.

More to the point, they shouldnt be getting hold of the tickets in the first place.

just had a look myself out of sheer boredom
there are loads doing trips from ireland to both games
i.e. ours and the mancs
and in every case our game is twice what theyre asking for the mancs.
