You make a good point. They combined brilliantly against Arsenal and look good together down that side. I was one of Pennant's biggest critics but I have to be fair to the lad, he had improved a lot over the season. His goal against Chelsea has given him confidence. Its great to see us play with attacking full backs.

Why do you say both? Arbeloa cost us next to nothing and has slotted straight into the side. What's he got to prove then

As well as playing well, it also looks like he's slotted into life at Anfield well, seems to mix well, if the goal celebrations are any indication.
