So, who will Rafa pick!

So many players in contention for Wednedsay's game with some hitting form at the right time.

Who will Rafa pick for the first leg then?!

My guess is the following:

---------Mascherano--Alonso
Gerrard-----------------------Riise
-----------Kuyt--Crouch

then again he could pick Sissoko in the centre to stop them playing (but I'd rather Mascherano as he can use the ball as well as break up play). He might play Gerrard behind the main striker, as he has done recently (but I hate seeing Stevie used there), and he may go with Bellamy up front for his pace too, but I think Crouch will cause them plenty of problems if he starts. Will he play Gonzalez on the left or go with the more cautious Riise (or will Kewell come into contention, surely not!). So many if's and but's there!

The substitute bench looks strong going with the above team also: Dudek, Hyypia, Sissoko, Pennant, Bellamy, Zenden, Gonzalez.

So many options to use, but at the end of the day Rafa's the one with the final word, and I trust him to get it right.

My nerves have arrived but I can't wait for it to start. The above team can do it for us in my opinion, but I'm sure you all have other ideas! Let's have 'em!

Could be, But Kuijt playing 90 min on the weekend, counts against him starting this one. Crouch will cause more problems for Chelski

i dont think momo should play his confidence will be low and we cant risk him playing badly and giving the ball away.

its a hard choice between playing pennant because of his good form or alonso in the middle, with gerrard on the right, but without essien i think gerrard should cause havoc in the middle with pennant on the right. we need pace upfront so bellamy should start as boulharouz and terry are slow.
