I would think they pay close attention the the physical condition of the payers.

Cheers, mate, that's really good to know.

He needs to work on his abs but I expect he's too busy.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

You also completely failed to win a game except a group playoff, against Hungary. Allchurch is your all time leading WC goal scorer, with 2.

Didn't somebody say that he plays with 6 attackers against 4 defenders to drill the defence.
Also wasn't there a story about Carra first day in training with Rafa.
Rafa says we're gonna do some laps, Carra all eager sets off running.
Rafa blows the whistle calls him back, Carrra asks whats up.
Rafa says - There's no point running without a ball at your feet.

Whenever I played knock out, I was always McManaman, or Fowler.....The good ol days of tarting about on grass when you were a kid.

My manc supporting cousin always was steve bruce for some reason, I never understood why as steve bruce was just...........well.........a bit like John O'shea
                  You walk down road.

Right side, ok. Left side ok. Through middle. Squish, just like grape.

                  Same with Karate.

Either you karate do yes, or karate do no. Karate do think so, squish. just like grape.

I mean - how does he discipline the team so well to perform to his tactics? How does he manage to get the back 4 line so well drilled and with such a great level of understanding that they can move out almost telepathically? How does he get his team to perform to his rigourous tactics so well?

i'd be interested to hear if anyone here actually knows the ins/outs of Melwood and how specifically Rafa operates to create such a well disciplined team - the "crushing machine" as it will become!
Listen here Jose, dont be trying to get any tips off these forums!!! We are going to kick ass on Wednesday. And if you really want to know how Rafa trains the players, i hear there is a Wheelie bin outside Mellwood that no-one uses anymore(although it has a big dent in the lid)

Is there pukka pie wrappers as well?

I used to be Stoichkov when I was younger in the World cup singles

With regards to training doesn't Pako do the physical side and they all work together tactically. I would also agree we'd do a lot of work with the ball, as we have a continental coach, and thats how most foreign teams train.
                      Forwards.......
