    The Liverpool team was:
    1 Mike Hooper
    2 Mike Marsh
    3 Rob Jones
    4 Paul Stewart
    5 Torben Piechnik
    6 Stig Inge Bjørnebye
    7 Mark Walters
    8 Jamie Redknapp
    9 Ronny Rosenthal
    10 John Barnes
    11 Michael Thomas

    Subs
    12 Don Hutchison
    14 Robbie Fowler

Result was 2-0 to Bolton, McGinlay and Walker ( but I'm assuming you know that )

      No wonder we lost...

That is just a HORRIBLE team...

I am surprised Souness lasted that long...

Think he was asking about the Bolton team, tbh (freak)
Just when I discovered the meaning of life, they changed it

Just looking back at the lineup...its completely shambles...

First of all, he is presumably playing Picknik at the back. That is bad enough. But with whom? Paul Stewart?!?!?!?! Amazing...

And that team has absolutely no offensive punch. It is Marsh on the right and Walters on the left - hardly the stuff of champions. Rosenthal and Barnes up front. Barnes is an awesome player, but Barnes of 1994 was nowhere near the Barnes of 1987-1991 i.e he can't play upfront.

That really is a horrible lineup...

Not a complete horrible lineup. Jones ( injury ruined a blossoming career); Jamie Redknapp ( could of and should of been one of the best England midfielders if it wasn't for injury ) and Digger Barnes ( I still enjoy his curler against Everton in the FA Cup )
