I don't know. Personally I'd be quite disappointed with that. Might as well just give the £20 sell on fee to charity.

city can shove thier proposed bid up there arse i'd rather have cisse back at the club than silly money like that.
I wouldn't. If I know Rafa there's no way he'd get into the first team again so having him at the club is pointless. The alternative is loaning him out until his contract ends. Might as well cut our losses and get rid now.

The Mirror is speculating as usual. Where the FOOK did they come up with 3.5£ m from their FAT ARSES that is where.
Cisse is an Int'l player whos valued around 8£ m by LFC so there is no way we will sell for more than half that. Makes no sense buisness wise.
He will go for about 6£ m which is more acceptable & he will score more goals than the 4 muppets they have now for strikers.

STUART PEARCE is ready to make a £3.5million summer swoop for Liverpool flop Djibril Cisse.

Manchester City boss Pearce has drawn up a hit-list of targets to boost his Eastlands squad, despite fears for his future due to the current takeover battle for the club. And he sees French striker Cisse as the man to end the club's goalscoring nightmare.

City have netted just 10 goals in 18 home league games this season - one short of Sunderland's all-time Premiership record.

With strikers Darius Vassell, Bernardo Corradi, Georgios Samaras, Paul Dickov and Emile Mpenza netting just 16 between them this term, Pearce is desperate to land Cisse.

The 25-year-old, who cost Liverpool £14m from Auxerre three years ago, is due back at Anfield this summer after spending the season on loan at French outfit Marseille.

It's pointless arguing about who was responsible for bringing him here or if he was used to best advantage. We've moved on now, and so should he.
