I cant see any reason why we cant win the league title now. There are so many options within the squad that we can chop and change players and formations without upsetting the rhythm of the team. The biggest difference this year will be the subs bench. NO-ONE plays well every week, bad form, bad luck and bad decisions see to that - but now we can positively change the approach to a game with use of real quality players from the bench. With the size of the squad now, and the genuine 2 players for each position, I think we are going to see a lot more of the squad rotation system than we have before. Now the players are more used to this, it is a good thing, as it enables to give a full push to every competition we enter, rather than having to minimilize the importance of certain competitions so as to rest players for the so-called more important ones. I myself want to win everything in sight and believe there is no such thing as a "meaningless trophy"
Good luck rafa and the lads, go and show the country that LFC are once again the greatest team in the world.
P.S. Rick Parry and the board should be congratulated too for backing rafa to conclude all his business. They are not russian billionaires and have had to work extremely hard to pull these deals off for Rafa. Maybe some people who slate him can give him the benefit of the doubt now........
