Think Crouch will play either way - Chelsea have never been able to cope with him
At a football club there's a holy trinity- the players the manager and the supporters, Directors dont come into it, they are only there to sign the cheques " - Bill Shankly
I expect both of them to play.
Think it is just mind games from Jose. If they are out then fine, but wouldnt count on it just yet.
Could be Parm. The info came from someone I know at Chelsea rather than a media source though. Not so bothered about Ballack but I'd be happy not to see Carvalho line up tomorrow
Wouldn't surprise me to see Crouch up front on his own with Gerrard behind him. Rafa will want to keep it tight
I hate Gerrard in that position. He doesn't get in the box enough and his one natural weakness is with his back to goal so he just drops too far off the forward. If our wingers ever turned up in the box it might be okay but I think the game against Man City should have been the end of the experiement.
"The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Apparently Ballack hasn't trained today and Carvalho could only do some light jogging.
Here's hoping
Your headline is a little missleading but if Carvalho is out we should go for the jugular as Essien is also out and they'd have real problem at the back. Ballack being out improves there team anyway
"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that." Bill Shankly
Carvalho didn't play on sunday so must be a doubt. If Ballck isn;t fit, so much the better.
as for us i reckon we'll play only Kuyt upfront with SG supporting from midfiled.
