havnt hear much, think he was injured for a while though mate. Dont think he has set the world alight since his arrival. He has a big physical presence, so he may not be totally out of Rafa's thinking.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

    * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

        He's Austrian!!!

The word from Melwood is that he still has a good bit to go to challenge for a first team place.
I would imagine that the only action he will see this season is as a sub for the Carling Cup (discounting a horrendous
        Injury crisis)

I've seen him a few times on the reserves highlights on the main site, so I am basing my opinion on "nearly" nothing.....

However, him seems useful, but so far hasn't stood out as any better than the other players around him.....

Therefore, on that massive evidence I reckon he is some way from the 1st team

          But what do I know?

He didn't pull up any trees last season but he did show flashes of genuine talent. He initially said he was finding it tough to adjust off the pitch as well as on. He seems to have settled in now though, and is slowly becoming used to the change in style of play as well. It didn't help that he had a couple of injuries last season and has been played as a striker rather than winger too. Hopefully we'll be able to tell more this season.

He's in his final season of his contract, so he'll be playing for a new one, hopefully this can help spur him on.
