God Bless two little reds and their parents

Babies Leanne 5 and Shania 3 and their parents were found dead in their home on Monday.

It is reported today in Irish papers that their parents made funeral arrangements on Friday with a local undertaker detailing types of coffins and that Leanne and Shania would be buried wearing their Liverpool tops.

Its a very sad story and has gripped everyone here in Ireland - without getting into the rights or wrongs of what happened you can read some background here

    RIP - YNWA

I wonder what drove them to this.

    Very sad indeed.

I can't imagine what they must have been going through to commit murder/ suicide?

We've all had bad days but............

Who knows? It could be a mental problem! Best to keep an open mind though !

Sad story alright, you would wonder what drives such actions.

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

For a parent to be driven to that must take something really horrendous. We should think of the parents as well as contemplating the tragedy of two children dying.

Tragic indeed, reading the story on the bbc website it mentions that the father was also blind.

I can't think of any circumstances that would make me murder my own children then take my own life though

                        RIP
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

The father was indeed blind and his brother recently took his own life - this may have been a factor in this tragic event. The coldness of it is that the parents went to an undertaker and made plans for the funeral - then the breakdown seems to be with the authorities not intervening with the information passed on by the undertaker - obviously there were mental problems with 1 or both of the parents to do this to 2 beautiful and innocent baby girls.

                            RIP all of you.

It is horrible when parents bring their kids with them. If you are miserable, ok, do yourself, even if it is no solution. But let others live their lives.
