Sigh...never really got at them.
Shame, as they had Essien out, who is very important.

Our narrow formation was ****e going forward, but pretty solid at the back, Drogba apart.

Drogba is a cheat, but he is strong like a bull...do you reckon Sami would have dealt with him better? He is too slow though.

I think it will be very tight at Anfield...we got a chance though. We did beat them 2-0 last time.

Actually, Zenden was one who played with fire in his belly tonight.
Far from our worst player. Gerrard coudln't get into the game from his wide position.

I thought we were pretty decent. Not great but decent. Zenden let us down on the left and he was our main outlet. We'll have then next week.

Tonight wasn't as bad as it could've been. I just think that luck is on our side.

The tie is almost perfectly piosed for next week.

Totally agree, we can have this lot at our place, they know that the atmosphere is going to be red hot again, just like 2005, and we have a better squad now than then. I see us beating them by two clear goals next week.
