Im not going to slate the guy but I think hes very limited and we should offer more. All the first half for us was left side of midfield - the right was like a cemetary.

At the risk of not focusing on that question - why not play Finnan with Areola at LB and Riise LM?

My theory is that Rafa got 100-1 on Zenden playing the whole match, and put 10,000 quid on it. He will use the money to help fund the Villa transfer next year.

Apparently Finnan was injured.

I have to agree with you 200% as with regars to Zenden. Never impressed me neighter in midfield nor as a winger.

He should be the first to go after this season. I feel sorry for Rafa having to accept signings like Zenden cos the money was limited.

As for today I was biting my nails hoping that Speedy would be introduced cos even though he did not have the best of seasons his speed and good crossing would have been a million times better than Zenden.

The sad thing is that he had not even the slightest ounce of skill to beat Fererria. He kept cutting inside or losing the ball.

Would you mind explaining what you mean by possibilities? To me that word implies different options as opposed to try and get a corner at every opportunity rather than look for a good cross.

I kept screaming at the tv for him to be taken off in the 2nd half, what a waste it was giving him the ball all the time, he was poor.

Rafa seems to like playing people who've got extra motivation though...for example I think Zenden played against them earlier this season, and Rafa also did stuff like play God against the bitters
