The players need to reduce the amount of hyperbole and commentary they keep trotting out. Apart from Mourinho, Chelsea haven't talked much and when they have they've made the right noises.

We really need to raise our game, we looked lethargic for the majority of the game. I had concerns to whether we could raise our game after playing in second gear for so long. Chelsea hit the game running whilst we found it hard to get into our stride. Hopefully the Anfield crowd can inspire the team.

1-0 would be great the longer the game goes the more in favours us (in theory). A quick start is essential.

No.

The Champions League semi final isn't the sort of match where you test some tactics to see if they work. Especially when you're testing them for a player who hasn't played all season. You save the testing of tactics for a match like Saturday when there's nothing to play for.
