Perhaps he's not always stood near the perpetrators? Come on, it's a bit off to insinuate he "doesn't go to as many games as he reckons".

I've only heard blatant racism a handful of times over the last 10 years (only ever away from home, never at Anfield), and I know of people that haven't encountered it all.

I reckon I've been to say...twenty away matches the past three or four years and I haven't heard racist 'chanting' once.

The odd "**** off you french ****" of course. But that's not racism, is it ?

We've got ****s who follow us, just like every other club and every other walk of life. In a group of 3,000 or so there's always going to be the odd 'bad egg'.

I remember the Spanish Lads getting abused along similar lines at Fulham away last season. Is it racism? well techinically yes (a **** is a **** regardless of race/gender/disability) Is it any worse than Mums calling Kaip/Rocket/Taffy/Dan Welsh *****/Sheepshaggers/(Mums add your preferered term of abuse)?

Not being funny but I just returned from a short trip to the UK, last time I was there was about 3 years ago and I definitely thought something had changed, dark rummblings of racism flowing right through the culture, dont think this Islam Vrs Christianity bollox has helped matters... combine that with a dash of Chavdom and it makes for quite the potent ugly mix ... You're spot on there. There's a mixture of ingredients that are brewing up rather worryingly in the UK at the moment. There's a black culture that promotes drugs and violence as a means to make quick money, the ever present threat of terrorism (and support) from the Islamic community, mass immigration into the uk when we already have unemployement, overcrowded schools, hospitals and prisons. I read recently that Tesco is now recruiting staff directly from Poland when locals had applied for these positions only to be told that there were none available.

You also have a media industry here that believes racism is a white only problem.

It's a timebomb waiting to go off and things are going to get a lot worse.
