I think the difference is that while there are songs that our fans sing about them (sick ones about Munich, Shipman etc.) they don't get sung often at games and by thousands of people.

Sure I heard those songs last night but they were mainly from small groups of lads on the train back to Lime Street.

When I see what I saw, what I was sat among last night, i.e. kids all singing songs about Scousers and people who've died, and think that it's perfectly acceptable, then that's wrong.
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

I feel sorry for the portion of idiot fans of ours that sing about Munich - they clearly know nothing about our club, our history and tragedies

I was at the home game against the mancs the other week, down near the scum fans, and it was feckin' pathetic, to be honest.

They spent the entire game singing about murder, signing on, Shields,..........etc, etc..............and being fair to our fans, we blanked them, and ignored them.

I find it embarrasing, for them, that, ok, I can understand they sing about us when we play them, but it's every single game they play, even the youngsters, it's pathetic.

They are truly jealous of us, and tbh, they are becoming a disgrace.

Yep, we have the odd muppet out there, but they are scum of the earth.

I was in the chelsea end for the carling cup final a few years ago.

Told the row in front to "sit the f*ck down" after making it obvious that I was a red. To my surprise they did as they were told...

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

I was there and heard none of that. Barton got a very, very good response to that gesture.

I was on the very end row too and the banter was excellent. One young pretty 15-or-so year old citeh girl was standing on her chair shouting f'ing this and f'ing that being egged on by what looked like her dad, until the jam butties came over and gave her a serious talking too. She didn't stand up for the rest of the game.

            My best bit was:

**** all, you've never won **** all ad infinitum

to the tune of Blue Moon. They hated that.

Did anyone else see the two lads in the front row near us Reds. One of them had his hand in plaster with the plastered thumb sticking out at a really funny angle?? They kept standing up doing the Harry Enfield Scousers impression, and in response, 500 or 600 reds stand up giving him the thumbs up.

            Absolute quality.
            That's the one...

I'm guessing you were probably in the lower tier then as I was in the upper and the support was pretty sh!t and I defiantly heard those songs. The response Joey Barton received for placing the flowers was great and I didn't mean to make it sound like it wasn't, what I was getting at was that we shouldn't be singing those songs (especially on the anniversary of such a tragic day) when Citeh has made that gesture.

I saw those two fellas you were on about, i think they spend most of the game having a pop as us rather than watching the match.
