Liverpool's Carson named Charlton Player of Year
    tribalfooball.com - April 29, 2007

Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson has been named Charlton Athletic's Player of the Year by the Addicks supporters' club .

Carson also scooped the Charlton Athletic Disabled Supporters' Association player of the year award.

The young player of the year, chosen by first-team coach Mark Robson, was striker James Walker, who has finished the season on loan at Notts County, while Souleymane Diawara was voted by travelling fans as their player of the year.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

    well done Scott.

Cant see him wanting to hang around as a deputy for Reina though...he will go on loan again.

well he had every chance of doing in a relegated side. Come on he's had plenty of chances to make some saves, what with the crap defence in front of him. Well done to the lad but i'd use this as an opportunity to sell for 4 or 5 million and let the italian kid sit on the bench. Carson will not replace reina and is too young and too good to sit on our bench. No win for him i'm afraid. Good luck to him whoever he decides to join in the summer.
