I'll take 1-0 & ET, which is quite easily within our grasp, and then we'll do them in ET &/or pens, we have the legs & the experience having been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

      You may be right Morph......

I've been thinking about this and I've come to the conclusion that for all the money Mourinho has spent - he hasn't actually gotten that good a squad. Certainly not a squad in which he believes can get the required results. Look at today's game for instance; he played virtually his full strength team yet again when the players must be getting to the point of physical/mental exhaustion after their schedule of late. OK so he has a few injuries - but so do we, and utd and arsenal - but the difference is we don't moan about it and make everybody aware of our damned misfortune.
I've seen alot of the Chavs games of late and I believe that they're running out of steam. The players are getting tired, and tired players have tired minds - and that's when mistakes are made ( a valid reference made by Andy Gray of all people!).
I now believe that if we get the first goal on Tuesday - then we'll progress - as it will demoralise them and at the same time give our lads the surge of belief that was missing on Wednesday. I'm not saying that the chavs are out on their feet - what I am saying is that it's clear that they're not at 100% at the moment and the few percent that they lack could make all the difference for us.

they did run out of ideas pretty early on today and looked knackered by the end hopefully they will take this into tuesday which is why we should be right in there faces from the start hitting them where it hurts

Carvalho's a huge loss to them if it's true.

IMO, I don't care what players they choose to walk out of the tunnel on Tuesday. We are at home, we are pumped, and we are going to throttle them. It is going to be a relentless display of heart and character, (something the Chavs know NOTHING about) and Dogbreath is going to get careded for lashing out at Agger from being pissed at how well he stifles him.

              2-0 Reds.

If we keep a clean sheet I think we'll progress, I cant see us NOT scoring.
                Exactly.

Its all about keeping that clean sheet

If that happens we are as good as through. Carvalho being out is a huge hole in their defense that we can exploit

Tired or not, Chelsea will be right up for this one, make no mistake.
It would be foolish to think just because Carvalho's out we're going to walk it.
They're still a very very good side with quality all over the pitch that can hurt us.
That said, its without doubt a huge plus that RC is allegedly out (I'll believe it when i see it on Tuesday)

A clean sheet is paramount, a fairly early goal and i cant see us losing it.

We will emulate what the Youth team did last week 1-0 and win on pens -Pepe the hero and Sheva has a pen saved again

Have we ever had a penalty shoot out in front of the kop? I don't remember one.
                            Oh I don't know.

He walked off the pitch though.
