Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks is expecting fireworks when Rafa Benitez and Jose Mourinho go head-to-head again on Tuesday.
The Reds tackle Chelsea in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final with The Blues currently holding a 1-0 advantage.
However, it is off the pitch in which the managerial pair do most of their talking and Hicks is expecting more fun and games at Anfield on Tuesday.
"They are pretty good rivals. They've got a long history with each other," Hicks told Sky Sports News.
"These guys are at the top of their profession. If they weren't competitive they wouldn't be there. It's going to be fun to watch."
Despite being new to Liverpool, American tycoon Hicks knows the importance of seeing off Chelsea and progressing to the final of Europe's elite club competition.
"Rafa is special, we know that," he continued. "Just watching his track record and how he's received by our fans.
"In the end, Rafa is like all managers. It's down to how successful they are on the pitch and tonight's important."
CLICKY - SkyJust believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I am sure* if Finnan isnt fit zenden wont startOriginally posted by -V- View PostFor me everything tonight rests on Finnan being fit. We badly need him to play so that Riise can play left wing instead of Zenden who is way out of his depth

In mine we scored on in the second half and the winner in the second half of extra time. We always seem to do well in the second half of champions league games

Nah dude, I shuffed them into 3 or 4 threads actually, depending on type, this just took the mostOriginally posted by Nicey View PostSo every last thread about the game today have been shuffed together into one gigantic thread, faint smells of modititigthus reminiscent of another place, looking forward to the locked threads ..
But still Happy Thoughts .. Its Our Special Day

Nowt's getting locked (unless its a remarkably silly wum post after a defeat, which won't be happening anyway), but it only makes sense to merge threads on the same subject, especially when there's about 30 of them, otherwise the forum becomes an unmitigated and unnavigable mess. We don't make a big deal out of it like many other sites do, but especially on busy matchdays it would be in the benefit of everyone if people thought about whether a particular point they want to make really warrants a completely new thread, and looked to see if there already was a recent one on the same subject. When that doesn't happen and it all just gets excessive, a mod will sometimes merge some threads. That's just how it needs to be really.
Nuff of that anyway. Tonight is gonna
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
