lmao - have to admit that I was off the sofa running about like a thing that runs about a lot.....shouting at the tv, 'Did you see that one cross the line Jose??'

Jenn was jumping up and down and trying to get me to shut up incase I woke up the kids

edit: substitute 'Jose' with 'You ****er' if you want the truth

It was great, loved the atmosphere although at times you could feel how nervous everyone was. Was in Kop so am desperate to find out if Kuyt's goal was offside or not.

His body was slightly ahead of the last defender - but the rules state the attacking player should get the advantage so no he wasn't.

I was almost level with Kuyt. He didn't look offside at the time and TV replays have since confirmed it.

Listen to Radio 5 reporting on the match in the bulletins, "Kuyts goal given offside when it shouldn't have been" says it all really.

And he hit the bar, oh - and we scored, and we did not have one penalty saved - not a single one!, just how much more dominant do you need to be than that?

Barely offiside he was, but these decisions are based on pure luck really. Compare it to the drogba one in the 1st half, when finnan fecked up the offisde.
I guess there was 20.30 cm difference between the two situations.
Not much.. sometimes it is given offiside, sometimes not.

Just got back in and the celebrations are continuing at home. It was a superb day from start to finish...met up with Kaip, Rocket, Rushscored4,Mike k, Galeforce, Red Hot, Jacko,Revo, Redblood and plenty of others. Rushscored4 by the way is a legend...he gave Kaip his ticket to let him experience the atmosphere. LEGEND.

The reds were magnificent. The atmosphere was unreal and the result was sensational.

And what was my prediction before the game...1-0 and we win on penalties.

                        I'm smashed, excuse my post..I know I'm talking ****e!

Love the reds. Love rafa. Love all Liverpool fans.

Got back about an hour ago...sleep isnt gonna happen anytime soon

It was just superb, the atmosphere was better than 2005, the tension was huge but the unity of the fans was immense.

I was in the (standing) Kop and i have to say, my stomach felt like shyte, my throat is now sore from all the singing and my legs were like jelly throughout...another big Anfield European night

Me too. I really hope I get the chance during my lifetime to witness first hand moments like that. The good thing is I've still got plenty of time to do it.

Was in anny road lower behind the goal.

We stood up all game - atmosphere amazing, carn't speak this morning.

1000's around the ground before hand - some a bit worse for ware - bogs in sam dodds full of puke at 5pm.

loads of chav's around before the match - flatty was like being in the shed at one point.

fantastic. you could sence the nevers, that clock 1st 30 minutes flew by then went on go slow.

Chealsea fans was only a few rows away and you couldn't hear them especially when fatty scored there was nothing!!!!

Another special night noise miles better than having a special one.

JOse goading the the fans, how he must wish he was managing us.
Its times like these we learn to live again FF
