Why did they move the penalties to Anny Rd end??

    Why did they move the penalties to Anny Rd end??

    All game the commentator was going on about how pens would be taken infront of the Kop....but as extratime came to an end, he mentioned those plans had been changed.

    Anyone know why??

    It's a toss up mate. It's not decided by someone that penalties should be taken at one end or the other. I guess the tossing up was made before the match.

      fair enough, i thought that was te case.

      It was just interesting that our commentator here was continually statiing that pens would be taken infornt of the Kop. Which struck me as weird, because like you said ive always htought they flip a coin.

          and then 20 minutes later cried....again

            Apart from that though he was very good. Couldn't be more complimentry about us. I got the feeling he was pretty happy we won

              It was decided before the game that the penalties were at Anfield Road end

                apparently it was initially decided that the pens had to be at the Kop end because of "safety" reasons, but then was later decided that this wasn't the case & so there was a flip of a coin, which Chelski won

                  In any case, I was delighted to see it at the wrong end - we won in Istanbul and Cardiff with a shootout at the "Away" end - we even won the Youth Cup at the away end!!
                  Just when I discovered the meaning of life, they changed it
