www.foxtel.com.au - this covers metropolitan areas and should be a similar price to what I pay.

I m in regional Queensland so I get pay tv through Austar and it has the same programming as Foxtel - www.austar.com.au

The base package gets you Foxsports but no ESPN - it is about $50 per month (about 16-17 UK pounds at a guess). To get ESPN you have to incorporate another bundle of channels (about ten I guess) and it costs a further $10 per month.

Those links should give you some more detail.

You are a legend mate. Cheers for the links and the info. Hopefully we could join around a beer some time in the future.

I m ok with taping a midnight 1 am game when I have to get up on Sunday or Monday morning at 5am.

Needless to say - 9.30pm, there will be no cinema going this evening .

FA Cup is on ESPN - I think a couple of games per round.
League Cup - don t recall seeing much coverage bar perhaps the Final.

SBS is free to air - they also show a couple of Champions League games per week when it is on.
The League Cup, along with the UEFA Cup (hopefully of no interest to us) are both covered by Setanta in Australia.

Setanta also covered all of Liverpool's pre-season friendlies in Europe this season.

You'll find it primarily in irish Pubs... not sure if you can get it at home.

You can get Setanta at home.

I think it's about $35 a month. But you have to have a satellite installed (not your Foxtel one) which can be quite costly.
                              On the Ning Nang Nong

                              There's a Nong Nang Ning

And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
                              So it's Ning Nang Nong!
                              Cows go Bong!
                              Nong Nang Ning!
                              Trees go Ping!
                              Nong Ning Nang!
                              The mice go clang!
What a noisy place to belong,
Is the Ning Nang Ning Nang Nong!!
