    So then,

    Having just watched Milan wipe the floor with that set of *******s, whats the best way of dealing with them? Some of the play tonight has been really good. Who is our new Hamann to keep tabs on that silky Kaka *******?

    I cant see it being another 3-3 jobby. It cant be. This one is gonna be a 90 minute job surely?

    I know we can take them but can they just slice us open at will like theyve done to Utd?

    We have to have Kuyt and Crouch up front and I hope whoever has kidnapped Pennant doesnt bring him back and take the one we have had for the past few games. Does Zenden merit a start or will Kewell just roll up and do what he does best like last time, making Rafa bring on Robbie to score the winner.

    **** me its exciting stuff and I can not wait to get my hairy hoop out there now, without the fear of a random bottle flying my way from some Manc ****.

    The only downside to all this is Ive not got to wait about a fortnight to get my holiday hair cut and it needs cutting now.

    There's no doubt we're gonna have to really compete in midfield if we're gonna do them - but that's where we're strong so it can be done.

    I also don't believe that they're great up front so again we have cause to be optimistic. Kaka is class but the rest are average.

    I expect a 1-0 backs to the wall victory.

      Kaka will need two strong men pinning him down, and someone winding Gattuso up too. Dida wasn't tested at all tonight and the rest of the team had a fairly easy time of it.

        Liverpool will play at a high tempo, and wont piddle around the pitch like the Manure players tonight.

        Liverpool players are drilled to do all things and they all work for each other.

                For starters we don't have a defence with more holes than a colander.

                We also don't have overrated forwards who choke in the big games. We have Gerrard who performs at his best in the big games.

                  I hope we go for high tempo from the off as I doubt we can score 3 against them this time if they get a lead.

                  Personally though I feel we are better and they are worse (No Crespo) than Istanbul.

                    But the final is just one game so we need a goal then dont we? Pennants good twin is playing really well and he is quick, playing against the old boys of Milan I think he might get a lot of joy there. Crouchy will cause them problems but then Kuyt can chase down balls forever. Not everyone can play

                        up front kaka aside i think we have more than enough to cope with them
                        i think we'll go 4 5 1 again against them sg playing behind crouch or kuyt with jp on the right and KEWELL left.

                          I reckon Mascher will pick up Kaka.

                          United were too cocky tonight, basically playing three up fron to start with and leaving Milan to dominate midfield. We won't make that mistake.

                          We've beaten them once, we'll do it again.

                          And to those that are going - my jealousy knows no bounds.

                              I had the same experience.
                              A Manure friend of mine texted me after the first semi with the following: "I would have liked to meet you in the final".
                              10 minutes before the finish I started typing the exact same words but didn't dare send it before the final whistle
                              - but it worked...

                              Back to the subject.
                              We don't have a Kaiser type but Masher is hopefully capable of doing the job and furthermore we are much stronger at the back than two years ago...
                              I'd go for SG on the right - and Pennant on the left since I don't want to leave him of the team right now
