Why should we spend silly money on a player we don`t need?,we have a "World Class" Midfield.
We need to concentrate on filling the wings with great players,(Alves,Lennon)so SG can play in the role earmarked for Kaka if he came here.(IS Kaka a better Attacking Midfielder than Stevie?,i don`t think so.)
Plus one "World Class" Striker.
Kaka and Gerrard are not even close to being the same sort of player. They would most certainly be able to fit in the same side.
I love Stevie G, but he is a marauding, powerful attacking midfielder with very little finesse. All of which would be perfectly offset by Kaka.
And lets think a bit before we start calling Lennon and Alves "great" players.
England appeals to Kaka

Milan star Kaka admits the challenge of playing in the Premiership is 'very appealing'.
Fresh from destroying Manchester United's UEFA Champions League dream on Wednesday night, Kaka turned his thoughts to playing in England.
The Brazilian feels the fact that three Premiership clubs figured in the Champions League semi-finals is a sign of the league's strength.
And he concedes that, if he ever decides to leave Milan, then he would consider the possibility of moving to England.
"I love the competition, the challenge," Kaka told Sky Sports News.
"There are many big teams.
"Three English teams made the last four of this competition, so the challenge is very appealing.
"Many champions play in England.
"If one day I was to leave Milan I would definitely look at an English team."
Kaka also revealed he would relish the chance to play alongside United winger Cristiano Ronaldo, suggesting the Portugal international should move to the San Siro.
"In Italy," replied Kaka when asked where the two could play together.
"He should transfer to Milan then we could play together. You never know."

Ronaldinhio wont go to them if they aint in the Champ League
They will be in the Champions League - at least they'll be in the qualifiers.
EDIT: With four games to go they're in third place, seven points ahead of the team in fifth.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
Kaka to Liverpool? This may have been laughable just weeks ago, however recent reports and statements by the superstar have lead many to believe otherwise.
Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, or 'Kaka" as he's known to those other than his mother, is one of the highest touted 25 year old footballers in the world. He embraces everything that Brazillian football is about. Speed, flare, teamwork, and the uncanny ability to make the impossible possible. Except for one thing. Win the Champions League.
Recent reports out of San Siro have those close to him (namely, and most respected, his younger brother Digão) all saying the same thing. He wants the top European prize and realizes that if he continues to draw Liverpool in the final, it is a title that he fears will elude him forever.
So how do you change your own fate? Ask to move to Liverpool.
AC Milan do not want to get rid of the best thing that's happened to them since Andriy Shevchenko left, and will obviously not let him go on the cheap, yet they are also very consciously concerned about a "Bosman" with his current contract coming due in just 2 years time. It just might be the fresh change of pace that he needs to bag that elusive medal.
Kaka was reported as saying after their 2nd leg come from behind win over Manchester United in Wednesday's other semi final as saying "Liverpool is a great club with tremendous history. If they were to table an offer for any player, they would be foolish to not look at it." He continued "This season I am at AC milan. Next season is different and I do not know what the future holds for me or my family."
May 23rd could well just be an informal try out, should Liverpool hoist the cup at his expense yet again.
Why would milan let their best and more to the point - youngest player - leave? The rest of the team are 35 - they cant afford to let any one young and decent leave or they wont have a team in 2 years time!

Milan is one of the richests clubs in the World. Berlusconi said that he is prepared to spend €100m on Ronaldinho.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

ha ha ha of course id want him, just saying i think we could do with strikers, wingers rather than another world class midfielder. You know id piss my pants if we got him, just saying...its not the position we need covering...and would you drop xabi, stevie or masch? or keep the three of them and play a lone striker with kaka just behind? so many options but to keep all midfielders happy one things for sure...we couldnt play 2 wingers.
go 3 in the middle with Stevie, Mascher and Xabi and have kaka play in a free role behind the strikers.
