So do we rest players for this game or play our best starting XI? I guess that rafa will go for a mix of both, personally i hope Lindfield, Anderson and Hobbs all get a run out and Kewell comes on as a sub for 15/20 mins.

I want Fulham to stay up (and west ham to go down) so i hope we only thump them by 4 goals

Pennant and Mascherano are injured and are unlikely to play on Sat.

i think we should press for a win, i'd want a few youngsters involved some on the bench. i don't like the idea of fielding a weak side against a club in relegation battle i feel it wouldn't be fair to the other teams struggling for their lives if we give away 3 points like we did last week...

Rafa has already said there will be changes for this game, and rightly so IMO. We need to focus fully on #6, becuase you can bet your arse Milan will be doing the exact same thing and focusing only on Athens.

I'd like to see a mixture of young players (Padelli, El Zhar, Insua, Anderson) and first team players who haven't played much because of injury or lack of opportunites etc (Sissoko, Gonzalez, Zenden, Kewell, Bellamy, Palletta) and supplementing this by bringing on key players like Gerrard and Carragher for 20 mins towards the end for a bit of match fitness.

Either way, Rafa will know best as to how to manage them and play them with a view to maintaining optimum fitness for Athens.

Plenty of time before Athens, there is no reason to rest players that are not tired.

We should be playing the best 11 players to win the game, however after alot of players played 120mins plenty will be dropped

Exactly my thoughts except I want to see dudek and fowler play v charlton, could be the last we see of them in lfc shirts, well robbie might feature at some point in the final but dudek wont
