that was hardly a game that you would consider in the bigger picture though was it. On the whole, our reserves against a **** team and we should have got something. At the end ofthe seasn you could pick away games that let us down, Arsenal, the Mancs, Newcastle, Everton, to name a few...the last two would not and should not come into the reckonng though

Too right. I know we were resting players today and we've got the CL final to look forward to and all that, but every league defeat bloody hurts. I'm sick of being 20 or so points behind the team who wins the title.Originally posted by Gaz View PostAnother away game, another loss
Our away form needs sorting for next season, we've been shocking this year
Rafa should really have gained enough experience in the Premiership now to know where we are weak and what we need to do to mount a realistic challenge next season.

I knew what you meant.Originally posted by Helios Creed View PostI meant we say things at the same time, but if you want to wash our dirty linen in public...

Huh, anyway, what do you know our dirty linen, you never do the washing, you probably don't know how to use the washing machine or even where it is, you never help me do anything, you're either drunk in the pub or too busy talking to your sad Internet weirdo friends on that stupid football site, etc..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

next season being the operative statement, its a bit late for this year and he is hardly going to go hell for leather to win down there. He will pick a team to try to do a job but not at the risk at the bigger prize, whichever the competitionOriginally posted by Los Rojos View PostToo right. I don't disagree but I'm still disappointed to lose another game which puts us further behind the top two and let's Arsenal in to potentially overtake us. I'm fed up with losing away games against poor sides in the Premiership.Originally posted by nbryan1764 View Postnext season being the operative statement, its a bit late for this year and he is hardly going to go hell for leather to win down there. i didn't watch the game, but we surely had a strong enough team to roll over them...
how how was barry kewell???"I have decided to escape, to defy the shogun. Today I will begin walking the road to hell. But you will choose your own path. So, soon you may be seeing heaven. Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death."

it meant nothing though hence the team. Its different to two seasons ago when we were still fighting to get to the top 4 as well as being in the final. There is only one game left this season that really means anything. The others are virtually carling cup type games. Good chance for reserves, and youngsters and I am for one am all for that. Pity if we lose but ultimately it may sort out the wheat from the chaff as well as giving key players rests. Our first team would have battered them today no worries. They were ****. But if it gives a bigger chance of losing in Athens then bugger it, its silver I want

Strangely, I was just away putting some washing in the machine, but I must admit I'm not totally comfortable with the process.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostI knew what you meant.

Pedersen delivers a wicked ball in from corners & free kicks, and has a fantastic throw on him that lands the ball on the pen spot from the chalk line, and he offers us something better ton the left than any of our current mob.Originally posted by cobain View PostToday's corner kicks were absolutely disgraceful!!!
Especially from Gonzalez!
Good to see Kewell back and how on earth didn't Fowler get on the score sheet?

What a **** game that was. Fulham were gash, if we'd looked bothered and/or had a stronger team out then they'd have been toast.
How did Robbie not scored today?! Gonzalez provided nothing yet again sadly. Kewell's class was telling in the short time he was on. Few dickheads singing 'going down' to Fulham just before they scored - it's all their fault I tell thee.
As for corners, yeah, I was saying to RedStar - I think about half of our many corners didn't get past the first defender
