Some of you may recall I had a dream about the 05 final (although it was when we'd only just got out of the group stages), which made little sense at the time but fitted more or less perfectly with what happened. Anyway, I've had another dream. Dirk Kuyt scores to bring us number 6, walks it in at the near post after a good run. So there you have it.

I had a dream like that before a Celtic Vs Rangers cup final a few years ago. I dreamt that Lovenkrands scrambled the ball over the line in the last minute to win the match for Rangers. It happened almost exactly how I dreamed it would!
I hope you're right, polo.

I don't recall that. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

It was quite hazy, but this is what I gleaned:Originally posted by Neil Young View PostI don't recall that. What did you dream then?
-It was something to do with Galatasaray
-At FT our players looked confident and the opposition looked mentally drained, but the game was not over it had been a high scoring draw
-SG lifted the cup
The first two didn't make a lot sense at the time until someone pointed out the final was to be played in Istanbul where Gala play, and the difference in reactions with the high score draw obviously makes sense now.
OK so that's all it was, but still

At the beginning of the 04/05 season I said we'd win the CL but come 5th - I made some comment about 2 number 5s
I stuck with that all season.
Last season I said we'd win the FA Cup and I stuck with it all season.
This year I have been convinced all along we won't win a thing.
Sorry
