will last less than a year in charge of Bolton IMO.
I can see the same happening to Bolton as happened to Charlton when Curbishley left.
Hey Les
My Dad actually started Sammy off in management. When Sammy was still playing for us and England, and you were a part of the all conquering Ash Villa side that my Dad managed, Sammy approached him about how to set up a kids footy team which my Dad advised him on.
So when Sammy was an England international he was also running a kids footy team.

Yeah I remember now. Had forgotten about it.
Do you remember Oggy (Steve Ogrizovic) coaching our team as well Alan?
We had a good team back then. I remember we drew with Liverpool, and also got a draw at Blackpool (I scored!) when Peter Docherty (?) was their manager. They asked us for a rematch and then played lads older than us and whacked us 5-0. I always remember Peter Docherty was well impressed with us since we weren't affiliated to any club and just a bunch of lads from a sunday league team. I always remember dreading training with Oggy as he ran us into the ground !!!!!

Yeah my Mum and Dad went to his wedding in fact. I remember once we had a knock on our front door and when we opened it Oggy was stood there asking for an apple!! He was driving home to Shrewsbury it was, fancied an apple so knocked at ours.
I remember meeting Joey Jones when Ash Villa played Wrexham too. Didn't you play Everton as well.
It was a good team was Ash Villa.
I remember the junior FA threatened Sammy that they'd ban him from playing for England once.
