He could well be a decent player, but I doubt he'll be a world class signing. Rooney, Ronaldo and Giggs are all world class forwards. If we're signing the likes of Voronin to compete with them, then surely the best that we could hope for next season, is winning the league cup (with our full strength team), probably a good run in the FA Cup too, depending on which priorities United and Chelsea set themselves beforehand, and focus on the CL once again.Originally posted by Rocket View Posthow many times have you seen him play? keen follower of the German league? good to hear
The league is the bread and butter. I doubt Voronin could have an impact in it but this is just my opinion.

Was he hinting at us? And do we need another left back? And does anybody know anything about the 'Severe' left back?

think you mean Puerta from SevillaIn Rafa I Trust

we currently need world class signing to give us the extra edge we need to win the league.
but clearly from recent displays against Pompey and Fulham, our second choice positions clearly aren't good enough either.
if Voronin is an improvement on these players, and is on a free transfer, i don't see what the problem is

Which is why i think we`ll sign Tevez and Torres complimented by Crouch,Kuyt and Voronin.Originally posted by fredo View PostHe could well be a decent player, but I doubt he'll be a world class signing. Think he is meant as back-up. When Rooney, Ronaldo and Giggs aren't playing what is the standard on the pitch? It is a good idea by Rafa, Decent (not world class) back-up.Originally posted by fredo View PostHe could well be a decent player, but I doubt he'll be a world class signing. Yes United have been lucky to have all these attacking players free from injury all season. We still have been able to count on our full strike force too, but we've been poor. Voronin will provide cover for Eto'o ?? FFS, that's terrifying me mate.Originally posted by sonsofthedesert View PostThink he is meant as back-up.
