Well I may be out on a limb here, but I´m gonna say Zlatan is better then Crouch.

Well, when I look at out team I see a big lack of creativity in a lot of positions. Simao for the right wing would really give us a goal threat and a busy player that makes things happen. Our left wing has been terribly inconsistant so having Puerta would give us a realible player there that can get past defenders, shoot and deliver good crosses. He works hard and even defends well, he can play at left back if needed. Tevez would be the injection of creativity behind the strikers and Huntelaar the scorer. I strongly believe we'd benefit by crazy proportions if Tevez was signed. And I think we need some better protection at centre back if Agger or Carra go down. Arbeloa is an option i don't know if Rafa likes him as a centre back though.

Alves is a great player, but I don't really see any point in signing him if we're going to use him as a winger. As good as he is I prefer him at right back or as a wing back. So unless Finnan/Arbeloa leaves or we play 3-5-2 I don't know of how much use he'd be. He is so much better at right back with Navas infront of him, the way they combine is out of this world.

People who think Alvez and Simao and a striker will be enough are not taking into account that the our rivals will strengthen. United will have Nani and Ronaldo on the flanks, who are better than an Alvez and Simao combo by miles! We need to buy top drawer, 5 players to compete.
