I suspect Rafa will look for the sort of creative attacking players who can play either side - like Ronaldo can for United, Robben & Duff used to do for Chelsea and Simao has done at times for Benfica and Portugal.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Don't forget that we have Sebastián Leto coming in the summer also - he plays on the left.

Mate, even when fit Kewell isn't good enough.
The type of player we need is the Harry Kewell at Leeds not the LFC version. Injuries have taken their toll.

So pretty much in agreement that wingers
Left and Right are top of the list.

Still think we could do a deal to bring SWP to Anfield.

Feel he got a bit of a **** deal going to Chelsea, might be worth a shout.

            As for the left??

I think that SWP has turned the corner in terms of his Chelsea career. I can't imagine them selling him and particularly not to us.

Kewell is fit now and he may be better than he ever been for us. The reports says that he is fitter than he has been for a long time. The operations he made should have been done two or three years ago but he never got the time and he played on instead.

No I can't either, simply because there aren't many around. Simao is a must sign for me. He's exactly what we are looking for. So there's one.

Simao is not a target, apparently.

I don't rate Simao at all.

                      The reasons.

He is lazy, not tough enough for the PL and wrong mentality.

I know that he scores some goals but not many of them are from open play.

I would even take a 80% fit Kewell before Simao.

To me Simao seems like the ideal type of player. The question is presumably how well he would adapt.

I have a feeling a real problem for us will be that Man United and Chelsea are both looking for similar types of player. I think that the new finance will act more as a leveler than to put us ahead having our pick of signings.
