I do think that some of the things that shanks said would be considered arrogant by people on here but as he was liverpool boss we love him for it.

I quite like the moaning one. he has been a breath of fresh air to the prem. he has gone to far such as when frisk decided to step down and his ronaldo comments but on the whole i think most people would like someone as arrogant as him to be liverpool boss.

speedy i have to agree. i mean look at the furore casued by rafa sort of saying everton are a small club. Shanks said that we had the best two teams on merseyside Liverpool and Liverpool reserves. Also what he said at Dixi Deans funeral about being a better turnout than at Goodison.
