My German friend has told me a long time that Alves will leave for £18m. He got it from the same that told him that Agger was a done deal. We will pay that according to him and Liverpool is Alves number one option.

Hmmm ... If it's been a done deal long ago, I wouldn't believe it, simply because we didn't have the money to splash and certainly not £ 18 Million. If you told me that there have been new developments due to our takeover etc ... I would have been more inclined to believe what your friend has told you.

Just because we agreed a fee with Sevilla doesn't mean that we will sign him. If the takeover wouldn't happened then we would probably dropped the deal. Now when we have the money then the deal is very much on.
