there are a few that can make great saves ie James but to do nothing all game then produce a save and not bottle it on the big occasion is what great keepers do.

Lehman is a good goalie to be far mad as a box of frogs. Good shot stopper but a bit crazy on corners

Shay Given i still dont know why he wasnt of hasnt been given a chance at the top clubs, one of the players for me that its a shame he'll probably end his career rich in wealth but with no medals

No he's a quality Goalie and great shot stopper has saved Newcastles bacon hundreds of times

Given is absolute class and playing behind **** defenders is not really the way forward if you want to look good as a goalie, sure you will get to stop more shots but more over you'll be left in no mans land looking like a spare plum which he rarely is. Just pure Quality who to be fair is playing at a big club who just have not delivered on the pitch, fecking Arsenal should wake up and smell the coffee and get him and dump that liability ...16 yellow cards this season and he is in Goal .... lol Nutter

agree Given is made to look good because he has to make so many saves. He is not that good and nothing on Cech, Reina, Jaaskaleinen, Freidel, James etc.

Agree with that Sammy. Think Pepe will be at least as good, if not better as Cech in a couple of years. Pepe is the best gk from dead balls/set pieces.
