    Owen and Gabriel Milito.

    A £9m release clause in Newcastle forward Michael Owen's contract has alerted Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea. (Daily Mirror)

    Real Zaragoza defender Gaby Milito has pleaded for the chance to join Liverpool after they lined up a £10m player-plus-cash deal involving Mark Gonzalez. (Daily Mirror)

    It looks like Rafa will keep signing players he tried to sign before but could not afford. If this is true of course.
    Just believe and you never know what will happen.

    According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

              There was an article about Owen yesterday in The Times that intimated that we may be interested, it was hidden in a section about how he will waste his career if he stays at Newcastle.
              A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
