I dont believe tghat will be the case

A definitive budget will be given and Rafa will have to work within the confines of that

Whether thats £50 million or £70 million is the big question
    That is what I said.

    Alves, £18m
    Huntelaar, £15m
    Milito, £10m plus Gonzalez.

£43m plus Gonzalez. A little more than £40m but not that much more.

The prices mentioned for Milito and Huntelaar are prices mentioned by the media. The price for Alves is what my friend told me that he will cost.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

That's all hypothetical and pure newspaper talk.

Where did that Gonzo talk come from ?

The price mentioned for Milito in the Mirror yesterday was £10m plus Gonzalez.

I wouldn't believe prices in the papers.

Lec do you know something here mate?
As I have said before I believe they wont mind paying a bit extra in the knowledge that he will practically pay for hmself via merchandising plus the goals as well. He would be a good deal for us if we get our merchandising right.

40 million for the worlds best striker sounds about right for me in todays market.
Another reason, if true, to safely assume we wont be in for him at that price.

Values quoted in papers get increasingly ludicrous shocker.

It appears we are well and truely into silly season with the amount of bollocks being spouted by journos

By the way I dont think you would have a cat in hells chance of getting Alves, G. Milito & KJH for £40 million
                    , isn't it a snowball's chance in hell
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                    * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Why would we sign a £10 million defender as cover?

                        Not Rafas style

I didn't think either that Rafa would be interested in a central defender but Milito said that we have made a bid.

Maybe Hyypia will leave or maybe Rafa want to play more often with three central defenders.

To be precise, it's the *newspaper* which is supposedly quoting Milito, and wasn't it Tribal Football ?

hyypia is not going to play alot next season, and palleta isn't good enough, we need 3 good central defenders. milito would be great...
