Trivia
He is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects on the football simulation game Football Manager 2007.
He is a big Gay fairy. Who loves to take the STRAP!
Liverpool F.C. manager Rafa Benítez was quoted in an interview with French site TLW as saying "For sure, the signings of Lucas and Andriy Voronin will give us possibilities. We must remember that he is one for the future; Voromania is coming - have you got a ticket?"

cant complain if this is true.
He looks well suited to the premier league...likes to break from deep ala Gerrard and Baraja...hence the comparisons. Scores goals. Seems to have a decent touch from that clip.
People in Brazil rave about him."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

So he will be confirmed todayLucas is the Captain of the Uner-20 Brazilian seleção and is said to be in Liverpool already undergoing medical exams for a potential unveiling on Friday.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Liverpool have won the race for Brazilian midfielder Lucas, according to his club Gremio.
The 20-year-old has long been linked with a move for Europe, as his impressive displays as the holding midfielder for Gremio have caught the eye of watching scouts.
Gremio have claimed a host of teams came calling, but stated Liverpool acted quickly to wrap up the transfer.
"We did business very fast with Liverpool because there was a lot of interest," Gremio secretary Alfredo Oliveira told Radio Bandeirantes.
"Lucas travelled to England to present himself and although there are a few little details to be resolved, I can say that the transfer has been arranged and that Lucas will join his new team once Gremio's participation in the Copa Libertadores ends."
It is believed that Liverpool have paid in the region of £8million for the Brazil international.
Gremio are in the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores, but Lucas should link-up with The Reds for pre-season in order to put pressure on the likes of Mohamed Sissoko, Xabi Alonso and Javier Mascherano.

Strange signing bearing in mind our midfield. Either Steven Gerrard won't be deployed as a central midfielder at all next season, or one of Momo or Xabi will be gone.
It has to be said that Mascherano is the only recognized 'holding' midfielder in our side, though Xabi has excelled in that position.
Seeing the video clips, I can see Lucas as having the same style as Stevie G though, being box to box and scoring goals from midfield. But the sky's article state he's a holding midfielder.
So, he could well be a backup to Stevie.
