Somebody's gotta take a chance on these young, gifted Brazilians though. Milan did all those years ago with Kaka at a similar price (£5m?) when he was unheard of on the world stage, and look how he turned out. Who knows, this Lucas kid could prove a similarly astute buy.

Agreed mate Messi is another of those wonder kids, although I think he cost a little more than 5 mill but nonetheless if someone else had've snapped this guy up we'd all be saying why can't Liverpool ever do that.
