Somehow every thread seems to turn into a Rick Parry bashing thread. Some people just don't get it. With 17,000 tickets you can't please everyone. Next he'll be blamed for the scouse pies at Anfield being blind and the pastry being soggy.

That's not what we're arguing against though mate, is it?

Why cant they just make the facts known to the fans? By hiding them, it makes them LOOK guilty of something, even if they arent.

As i've said, if all was done properly and they didnt shaft the fans, then just make the numbers known and we can all move on. But they wont, which just makes people more suspicious.

The game's still nearly 2 weeks away, i'm sure there'll be plenty of game hyping in due course. The ballot thing was a couple of days ago, people are still coming to terms with feeling let down.

As for why, it's obvious...because people feel things dont add up and when the club refuse to be transparent about how it did things, those feelings of doubt just have more weight added to them.

Okay the way I see it is that Morphorino has added some much needed balance to the CL Final Ticket situation. He has raised some excellent points in numerous threads over that past 2 days. He's not telling you all what to think or what to debate he's just putting some perspective and reasonable points to a debate that was driven by peoples dissapointment at not being succesful in the ballot.

Why can't we criticise the club over the awful marketing? FFS!

I have tried to spend money at the online store on so many occasions only to find there is ****all in stock. I mean they have only recently got the home shirts back in stock after months of seeing 'currently unavailable'.

It is a shambles and Rick Parry must take some of the responsibility. End of.

If I ever met G+H I would tell them the marketing is one of the main areas they need to improve - we are absolutely miles behind the other top 4 clubs IMO. It is clear we are trying to sort things out but it needs to be done sooner rather than later.

We already missed one golden opportunity in 2005, lets not repeat that disaster (the Reebok Euro shirt). It would be nice to buy merchandise direct from the club rather than from 3rd party stores such as Subside Sports or Kitbag.

Nowt wrong with calling it how it is. FFS we are going to win No.6 so the marketing people better be ready for it!

I agree with you mate the availability system should be improved, but from having experience working in similar fields, we just have a case of supply can't fill demand. I'm tlaking about the CL stuff here, we only just confirmed that we needed any final stuff last week, so there's obviously a problem manufacturing stuff to meet the demand, which is why some of the biggest brands in the world like microsoft, apple, nintendo go oos of new products, it's just life.

Obviously other things like post final merchandising and shirts etc are a different matter because production times shouldn't have as great an effect and that is something that defo needs to be addressed, and i'm sure hicks and gillet will look at that
