    Amount of arrivals this summer.

We've all been speculating endlessly for the past few weeks regarding the possibility of signing this player or that player. This is, of course, pointless as we don't know who's gonna be available etc.
What I'm curious to know is what you chaps think the scale and nature of Rafa's summer dealings may be. I've got mates who are saying striker, centre half and a decent right winger and that's it. Others say a striker and right back and so on. Am I alone in thinking there could be around six to eight signings this summer resulting in a few surprised and disappointed redmen.
I honestly think apart from Gerrard, Reina, Xabi, Mascherano, Carra, Finnan, Agger and Kuyt I don't think anyone is 100% safe. What does everyone think?
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

We have Leto, Lucas and Voronin already incoming. Assuming we sign another winger and maybe two more strikers that's half a team. We may even sign a central defender to take the number to 7, so your guess of 6-8 doesn't seem far off. I'm slightly disappointed by this because I think it will lead to a bloated squad of average players, but then again we might see some departures in these areas to offset things.

It will however require some significant work to get these new guys bedded in if we're to compete for the title as otherwise we're set for another season of frustrating performances in the league and Rafa quotes along the lines of "he is adjusting".

I think that Rafa is building a team to dominate the league year after year and not only to win it one year. That may mean that we will get it tougher to win the league next season but we will instead be better long term.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

        2-3 definite first teamers.
As many squad fillers as Rafa ****ing likes, provided it doesnt cause upheaval and we're too slow getting out the blocks at the beginning of next season.

Hopefully not too many and the ones we do get in need to be signed early and no ****ing around on last minute deals before we start the season - Full pre-season and flying start needed

I want to win home and away against Arsenal, ManU, Everton and Chelsea next season - no more stupid failures/draws

I think it showed with Chelsea and Man u that you need a squad with two very good players for each position. They were tired at the end of the season and relied heavily on the same players weekly.Gradually our players have accepted it and it is paying off now as we are very fresh and going to Athens.
I can see Carra being rotated next year and that means a top centre back coming in.Alves is a must,Aurelio and Insua will be like new signings and a shock striker knowing Rafa. Not one of the "faces" if you get my drift.
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful
            everyone wants to know

Aside from Voronin (in for Fowler), Leto (maybe in for gonzo), Lucas (in for Zenden) who will proably all be fringe players

I'm expecting a striker in place of Bellamy, right winger, central defender and maybe a keeper (we know dudeks off and carson prob wont stay)

All of these buys are good and all, but theres something thats bothering me slightly. Considering we're getting rid of a few players ie Fowler, maybe Crouch, bellamy etc, dont we need to keep a specific amount of english players in the team cause of certain rules? This mean we should be expecting a couple english players to come in?

Damnit Postman pat, I cant look away from your avatar. I'm tryng to figure out how its moving so much with so little motion from her body, and then the clevage traps me for a minute for 5.

I suspect our bench next season, for the most part, is going to be pretty ****ing strong.

                      We are buying fat players?
