Carra and Riise out for a month.

Bad news for us at such an early stage of the season and so many important games coming up. out of the 2 Riise' injury sounds the worst.

that is bad news. hopefully they can be back in about three weeks or so, they are obviously a massive loss.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

    * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Time for Agger to make a name for himself.

        So they could well miss

        Haifa
        West Ham
        Neverton
CL match (hopefully) on 12th Sept.

Probably back for the chavs on 17th by the looks of it.

I think he will too, although i think Agger is more of a replacement for Sammi than Carra, playing wise as he is a bit of a ball player, if Paletta was a bit more settled and used to the Prem, I think Rafa would have used him. Although I dont think Agger will do that much wrong.
Would be worried if sammi went missing for a couple of games though to top it all off.

I've just read on the BBC that they'll be out for a fortnight.

They won't be able to train for a fortnight so that will obviously have a knock on effect and they will have to be eased back in to first team contention.

torn lateral ligaments doesn't sound like he'll only be out for 2 weeks.

My thoughts exactly! He's looking at least at 1-2 months depending on the extent of the tear.

The thing that bugs me is that we couldn't have lost 2 key players at a worse time!!!

                              Yeah i rmember.

Unfortunately i'm not going to be there on Saturday because I'm going home to sunny Scotland for the weekend. It's the last chance I'll get to go home before my wife gives birth to our first baby but I'll be around for plenty more of the home games this season.

                              Are you going on Saturday?
